A Mind As Beautiful (2010)

A blistering new work, that gives the audience a real and brutal insight into the lives of people living and suffering with schizophrenia. Informed by Thorpe’s research into the science and history of the illness, the trademark speed, rhythm and precision of his choreography combine with a moving narrative to create dance at its most expressive and visceral.

A mind as beautiful featured in the National Dance Network spring 2010 tour, Dance3. The project presents the next generation of dance-makers through showcasing 9 choreographers in 3 triple bills across the UK.
